When
playing Texas two card holdem poker,
getting off to a good start means
knowing when to bet and when not to bet.
These are some good hole cards that I would consider betting before seeing the 5 cards
placed face up in the middle of the table which all players use to complete their
hand.
For purposes here:
consecutive cards = any cards within two denominations of each other. Ex =
jack and king , or queen and king. *note that true consecutives are
considered by many players to be slightly better.
High Card hands = hands existing of cards with a jack or better in them.
1) consecutive same suit cards. These are good hole cards
because they can complete a high card hand of a pair, twopair, they are good
in getting a high card flush, or a high card straight and up...
2) High card pairs. These are good for the obvious reasons
and for high card twopair hands.
3) High card same suit cards. These are good in high card flushes,
as well as getting a high card pair, or twopair hands.
4) Consecutive high cards (different suits). These are good
for completing straights, high card pairs and high card twopair hands.
Texas two card holdem poker is played exactly like 7 card
stud poker except you only get two cards down instead of 3 like in 7 stud.
Your two hole cards (dealt face down) are distributed. Then it's
time to bet. Upon completion of the betting, 5 community cards are dealt face up
into the middle of the table. A round of bets are made between each card.
Players use the 5 cards in the middle of the table (known as
"community cards" to complete their hands.

I've had a lot of luck here, probably
more than anywhere else. they have proven to me this is a quality
poker room. Tournament lovers will like their Minitournaments which
consist of 3, 5, or more players on a single table. NL, PL and fixed
stakes games. Tournaments start at $5+$1 and are played in nolimit
and Omaha.
