issues.
Privacy
is checked thoroughly at the casinos I recommend. I check them to see if they are being honest
about keeping email addresses private by signing up to play at their casino with an exclusive email
address created just for that casino.
Example = sunnyvegas@ KCsod.com (KCsod.com is my
first portal). for more info about that site
About KCsod.com.
By creating an exclusive email I become privy to
when a casino sells our email addresses to other casinos. This sort of action is a
symptom of a much bigger problem. The people that run the casino have no ethics,
loyalty or for that matter any kind of business sense whatsoever.
At best our email addresses are worth about a buck
apiece (updated to note they are probably worth more now but not a lot
more) and that is at best. If a casino is willing to sell out their players
privacy for a dollar a shot... you should avoid that place like the plague
because they won't think twice about screwing you.
There are many
aspects and angles that go into my decisions on which casinos I allow to
advertise on my sites that many may not have ever thought about. And the
above email privacy issue is a good example. You may not see a casino
you expected to see on my approved list ... just because I caught that
network involved in some kind of shady dealings towards the players. I
don't like the idea of a casino network being so thoughtless of its
customer base as to ever sell this private information such as email addy's and home addresses as well. I've even heard of some casinos cold
calling people at work. The only way they got that information was from
a casino database.
